Hi! My name is Katie Moncrief. I am originally from Wyoming, and I received my B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Wyoming. I went on to obtain my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. During undergrad and dental school, I worked as an orthodontic assistant which is where my love for orthodontics began. Following dental school, I pursued a residency at the University of Kentucky and obtained my certificate in orthodontics and Master of Science degree.
Outside of orthodontics, I am an outdoors enthusiast. When I have free time I enjoy camping, hiking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, or fly-fishing. Recently, I have learned to play pickleball, and I look forward to improving my game. When I am not enjoying the outdoors, I love reading mysteries or watching the United States National teams play soccer. Traveling to new places is always one of my favorite activities, as is spending time with my family and friends.
I am a very curious person and like to stay up to date on the newest techniques in orthodontics. I value high quality treatment and efficiency.
